DEVELOPERS PITCH THEIR PROJECTS TO INVESTORS
Developers are invited to pitch their projects for 15min privately to four sharks during SBF Conference on Wednesday November 29, 2017.
Sharks representing Caprock Renewables, KAS Consulting Group, Renewable Energy Alternatives, and O3 Energy.
Renewable Energy Alternatives (REA) is primarily a Tax Equity Investor which has been making investments since 2012. It was started as a sister company to CRA which has done over $1B of Low Income Housing Tax Credits (lihtc). REA also develops and co-develops projects for its own portfolio. REA has invested in or developed over 150 renewable energy projects in eight states using over a dozen tax equity funds that it created and currently manages.
O3 Energy is a turn-key Renewable Energy Services Company whose primary focus is providing energy solutions to heavy power users. O3 finances Solar Energy Facilities through an off-balance sheet financing solution known as a Power Purchase Agreement.
KAS Consulting is a Business Development and Energy Sector consultancy specializing in Project Finance, Capital Finance and Business Development. KAS works with developers of energy projects in the United States and abroad who are selling energy projects and need assistance with the “make ready” aspects of acquiring buyers and then bringing the right buyers to the right sellers. KAS has had an interest in over $904 Million dollars of projects being done since 2010.
Caprock Renewables LLC is developing 1GW of Utility scale solar projects and has recently sold a solar project of 150MW size in ERCOT to a US publicly listed energy investor.

Be ready to submit your Statement of Qualifications prior to the conference
Only 8 pitches will be accepted with early qualified submissions having highly chances of selection to pitch.
Marc Natividad, Managing Partner, New Power Capital Group
Marc Natividad is the Managing Partner of New Power Capital and the Director of Acquisitions and Due Diligence for Renewable Energy Alternatives (REA). He has a BS degree in Finance from Arizona State University and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He spent the last 20 years in the finance industry specializing in equipment and project financing. He loves working in the renewable energy industry. He grew up in Arizona and from an early age wondered why every house didn’t have solar panels on it. A few did, but why couldn’t the hot Arizona sun be used to make electricity for everyone? Now that wonderment is turning into reality and Marc is doing his part to make it happen.
Brad Stutzman, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, O3 Energy
Bradley Stutzman’s career has encompassed a wide array of functions including executive positions in the finance, construction and renewable energy industries. After holding positions at both Blue Renewable Energy and Folium Energy, Mr. Stutzman joined the O3 Energy Solutions team. He has lead the development of over 50 megawatts of commercial and small utility scale photovoltaic projects. Most notably leading the development team for the Eubank Landfill Solar Array in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The first dual axis tracking system installed on a capped landfill and the largest, at the time, commercial scale solar project in New Mexico. Mr. Stutzman’s expertise lies in developing internal management directives and structuring company processes. Currently Mr. Stutzman holds the role of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Project Development for O3 Energy. Mr. Stutzman received his BAAS from University of North Texas and has an AA in Computer Information Systems from Northwood University.
Jim Kimo Storke, Managing Partner, KAS Consulting Group
Kimo has 24 years of business development experience and 6 years of U.S. military experience. Kimo Storke is the Managing Partner of KAS Consulting group, an advisement and consulting firm specializing in business development and energy project finance solutions. The groups he partners with have funded over $12 Billion dollars of energy projects in US and Offshore. In 2011 Kimo was responsible for the business development services which created one of the largest solar PV project finance joint ventures in history, a $1.5 Billion dollar project value and $780 Million in equity and debt financing. In 2011 the JV has stood up over 120MW of solar projects worldwide. Kimo was a Global Offering Manager at IBM for 3 years working as a Global Offering Manager and as a team member was partly responsible for $450 million dollars in revenue for IBM in 2001-2003. He was a Regional Manager of Business Development at RSM McGladrey for 4 years, the seventh largest accounting/consulting firm in the nation. He specialized in the areas of knowledge management, CRM and workflow with Lotus Notes. He was awarded as the 2nd highest producer in the Midwest region .
Thanasis Latrou, CEO, Caprock Renewables
Mr. Thanasis Iatrou co-founded Caprock Renewables LLC in 2015 together with Raina Hornaday, ex-GM and co-owner of Cielo Wind. Caprock is developing 1GW of Utility scale solar projects and has recently sold a solar project of 150MW size in ERCOT to a US publicly listed energy investor. Prior to Caprock, Thanasis was CEO with the Pelagic Group, a private equity family investment office out of Miami, FL where he focused on solar and high-tech investments. Thanasis was also the CEO of Media Excel Inc., a high tech start up funded by the family investment office of Red McCombs, the Texas billionaire. Prior to Media Excel, he was with DELL, where he served as General Manager of the mid-Corporate Business Unit in the UK and USA and with FUJITSU as Vice President of Business Development in EMEA, where he was responsible for M&A and participated in $6bn of transactions. He received an M.B.A. from Aston Business School in the UK, and a B.Sc. in Physics from Athens University, Greece
